Reservation terms and conditions:
Unfortunately due to the actions of a small number of people, any reservation that we take is subject to the following conditions.
By making a reservation with us, or any other accommodation provider in the UK, you are entering into a legal contract.
Reservations must be either reconfirmed or cancelled two days before arrival.
Once reconfirmed rooms/beds are reserved on the day of arrival until reception closes.
If you do not reconfirm or cancel and do not arrive during reception, your beds/room will be given away.
It is never possible to check-in before or after reception hours. Anyone who has not arrived when reception closes will have their entire reservation cancelled.
Reservations can be cancelled by phone, email or voicemail by 17:00 two days before arrival without penalty.
Anyone who has not cancelled their reservation and does not arrive during reception ("no show") is legally liable for payment of their first night. If they have paid a deposit the appropriate amount will be deducted from it.
Any "no show" who does not pay, may have legal proceedings taken against them and will not be allowed to stay at the backpackers in the future.
If we ask for a deposit to confirm a reservation and the deposit does not arrive by the time agreed, the reservation is cancelled.
If any changes are made to the initial reservation (e.g. the number/type of guests, the number of nights, or the arrival date/time) we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
You will be expected to pay for all the nights you have reserved in cash on arrival. If you arrive and want to stay for fewer nights than you have reserved and/or arrive with fewer people, you will still be expected to pay for the number of bed nights that were reserved. If you are unwilling to do this, we may refuse to check you in and you may lose your deposit.
If you mislead us regarding the nature of your group (e.g., your group are not all foreign visitors, you arrive with people under 18 years old, or you book for a group of females and a group of males arrive), we will refuse to check you in. If you have paid a deposit, you may lose it.
If you make a reservation and any member of your party is unable to show our staff official photo ID at check-in, that person will not be allowed to stay. If they have paid a deposit, they may lose it.
If you arrive exhibiting anti-social behaviour and/or are clearly under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol, you will not be allowed to stay. If you have paid a deposit, you may lose it.
